Chamuorganic Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers from the Jasra block in Prayagraj. Our main spot is in Sehura, over at Rajesh Kumar’s place. We came together to form Chamuorganic because it’s better for us to work as a team. We handle organic agro products, which just means we try to farm without all the heavy chemicals. It is a simple life and a simple business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy offices. Most of the time we are just talking about seeds, weather, and how to get our stuff to the market. Being in the post-Bara area, we are quite a distance from the main city, but that suits us just fine. We focus on what we know, which is the soil and the crops. Rajesh looks after the paperwork and the meetings at his house. It’s not always easy, especially when the rains are late or the prices aren't good, but having the company helps us stay afloat. We aren't some big multinational corporation. We are just local people from Prayagraj who want to farm in a way that’s good for the earth. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, and we’re just taking it one day at a time, trying to keep things moving. We hope to keep growing our group so more of the local farmers can join in and help each other out with their daily work and getting things sold.
