We are located in the Avas Vikas Colony here in Allahabad, specifically in Yojana-03 at 4/400. It’s an EWS colony, so the houses are close together and everybody knows what’s going on with their neighbors. We do our food business from this location. It’s not a big factory or anything like that. It’s more of a local operation where we handle the orders and keep track of our supplies. The kitchen area is where most of the work happens, and it can get pretty busy and hot when we are preparing things. We use a regular email address, cool_deep_u@yahooio.co.in, to keep in touch with people because it’s easy. Allahabad is a city where things move at their own speed. We’ve been in this colony for a long time. The office part of our house is just a desk with a computer and a lot of notebooks where we write everything down. We find that writing things by hand is sometimes better than trusting the computer completely. We don't have any big delivery trucks, just a few local guys who help us move the food around the city. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We focus on the food and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. If you’re ever in Avas Vikas, you’ll probably see us working away at 4/400. Most days are quiet until orders start coming.
