A.S. Fire Safety Systems

A.S. Fire Safety Systems is located over at 233 Hastings Road. We’re in the Balaji Building, which is a pretty familiar landmark if you’re heading toward the Civil Line area. Our daily routine is mostly about fire extinguishers, hydrants, and making sure all the safety gear is actually going to work if someone ever needs it. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy tanks around and checking valves. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep our tools and records. We’ve been in this part of town for some time, so we’ve seen the shops around Hastings Road change quite a bit over the years. Some days are quiet, just doing routine maintenance checks, while other days we are out on the road visiting different sites. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished reception desk. It’s usually just us with grease on our hands or dust from the job sites. We keep the kettle going for tea and try to stay on top of the local regulations which seem to change every other month. If you pass by the Balaji building, you’ll likely see our trucks or some equipment being loaded. We just focus on the hardware and the safety stuff. It's plain work, but someone has to do it to keep things from catching fire. The building itself is older, but it serves us well enough for keeping everything organized.
