If you find yourself on Stainly Road in Allahabad, you might pass by our office at 326 C/SF-3. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we handle all the real estate and development planning. Being in Allahabad means we deal with a lot of history and older plots of land, which can get complicated with all the paperwork involved. The office stays pretty busy with people dropping by to talk about their land or to see what kind of progress we are making on a new project. We have these old wooden desks and the floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. My desk is always covered in maps and site layouts that I never seem to get around to filing away properly. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate thing here. We just sit down, talk to people face to face, and try to figure out the best way to move forward with a project. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the office feel a bit stuffy, but we just open the windows and keep at it. It’s a lot of practical work, measuring things out and dealing with the local authorities. We like being part of the neighborhood and knowing the people who live and work around Stainly Road. Most of our afternoon is spent answering the phone and writing down notes on whatever scrap of paper we can find.
