Annpurna Store

Annpurna Store is right there on the G T Road in the Mahin Chak area of Jhunsi. Being in Allahabad, specifically this side of the river, means we get a lot of travelers passing through along with the local folks. The shop is a straightforward place. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights. We just put out the items people use every day and wait for them to stop by. It can get pretty dusty with all the trucks and cars going past on the main road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It is just me and a couple of others here most days. We have learned to tell when a big crowd is coming just by the sound of the traffic outside. The building itself is older, but it holds everything we need. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a local store where you can grab what you forgot to buy in the city. Jhunsi is a growing place, and we have seen more houses popping up nearby lately. That means more new faces, which is always interesting. We try to keep things quiet and simple inside, even if the G T Road is loud. It is a steady way to make a living, and we have been at this address for long enough that the locals know exactly where to find us.
