Vinod Building Material

You can find us at number 72 in the Katara Gulab Singh Area. Vinod Building Material has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a tucked-away place, but the locals know where we are. We mostly deal with the basic stuff people need for repairs or small construction jobs around their homes. There is usually a pile of sand or some bricks sitting out front. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags around and loading up the smaller tempos that come by. The area is mostly residential, so we know a lot of the neighbors who are fixing up their houses. We do not have a website or anything like that, just a phone and a desk in the corner of the shed. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when multiple orders come in at once, but we sort it out eventually. My brother and I handle most of the daily tasks. It’s dusty work and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We do not try to be anything we aren't. We just provide the materials and try to be fair with everyone. If the weather is bad, things slow down, but otherwise, we are here from early morning. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay steady in the Katara Gulab Singh neighborhood. Sometimes the goats from the nearby houses wander into the yard, which is just part of the day.
