Tathagat Computer

Tathagat Computer is based in Chogara, right near the dental clinic and close to Lalita Devi Inter College. Being near the college means we get a lot of students passing by our door every day. You can always tell when classes are starting or ending because the street suddenly fills up with teenagers chatting and laughing. Our shop is pretty simple. We have a long counter where we take in whatever needs looking at, and the back is filled with spare parts, old monitors, and cables tangled in boxes. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where the important tools are. The dental clinic next door is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Chogara is a small place, so news travels fast and everyone knows everyone else. We spend a lot of time just talking to the neighbors who stop by to say hello or ask a quick question. The lighting inside is a bit dim, and we usually have a small radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet. When it rains, the sound on the roof is so loud we have to raise our voices to hear each other. It’s a modest setup, nothing like those big showrooms in the city. We just do our work, drink our tea, and try to keep things running. It’s a good way to spend the day, right in the heart of our local community.
