It’s a quiet area mostly, and we are just a group of farmers who decided to organize ourselves a bit better. Being a producer company sounds official, but mostly it is just us sitting around and talking about crops and how to get things to market without losing too much money. Horticulture is a big part of what happens here. We deal with the local fruits and vegetables that grow in the UP climate. It’s more of a desk with a lot of papers and maybe some tea being served. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside. We are just local people trying to make the farm work pay off.
