Down in Pratapgarh, you’ll find Akhilesh Inverter Service Centre. We are right in the heart of Pratapgarh, and everyone around here knows how important a working inverter is, especially when the power goes out. Our shop is usually filled with heavy batteries and machines that people have brought in for repair. It’s a bit of a messy place with wires hanging around and tools scattered on the workbenches. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. People just walk in, put their inverter on the floor, and tell us what’s wrong with it. Most of the time, we’re hunched over a machine with a soldering iron in hand. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of battery acid spills over the years. Pratapgarh is our home, and we’ve been serving the folks here for a long time. We know which neighborhoods have the most power cuts and who is likely to come in next. It’s steady work. We don't do any big marketing; we just rely on doing a decent job so people come back next time their lights go dark. Sometimes it gets really hot in the shop because of all the equipment running, but we just keep the door open to get a breeze. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of batteries here in Pratapgarh. We’ve been at this for years and we know the machines inside and out.
