We focus mostly on fruits and vegetables around here. Horticulture is a tricky business because one bad storm can ruin a whole season’s work. We started this company to give us a bit more strength when we go to sell our produce. Being near the temple, it’s a familiar landmark for everyone who comes to visit us. We spend our mornings in the orchards and our afternoons at the office trying to sort out the logistics. It’s a lot of back-and-forth and sometimes the paperwork feels harder than digging a trench. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want the people in our village to have a steady way to earn money from their trees and plants. Most of us have been doing this since we were kids, following our fathers into the fields. Now we are trying something new by running a company together. It’s not always smooth sailing and we’ve had our share of bad days, but we keep at it because what else are we going to do? The trees don't stop growing and the fruit won't wait for us to be ready. We just keep moving forward one day at a time because that is all we can really do for each other.
