Raithu Vikasa Farmers Producer Companylimited is based out of Kondareddypalli, which is a small place in the Prakasam district. We are just a group of farmers who decided it was better to work together than to try and do everything alone. It gets hard being a single farmer when the prices change or the weather doesn't behave. So, we set up this company at H No 1-44 to help each other out with supplies and selling what we grow. It is not a shiny corporate building; it is just where we meet to figure out the next harvest. Most of us have been in the fields since we were kids, so we know the land around here pretty well. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just talk over tea and decide what seeds to buy for the season. Prakasam is a tough place to farm sometimes because of the heat, but having this group makes it a bit easier to manage. We handle things like storage and moving the produce to where it needs to go. It is basic work, but it matters to the families here in the village. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much for us, but we manage. We are just local people trying to make a living from the soil we have known our whole lives. We don't need any fancy titles or big offices for that.
