Mother Play School

Mother Play School is located in Kanigiri, right on Msr Road. Being on a main road means it’s quite easy for parents to spot us. It’s a small place, mostly geared towards the younger ones who are just starting out. You can usually hear the sound of singing or kids playing games if you stand outside for a minute. The rooms are filled with toys and small chairs that fit the little children. We try to keep things bright, but it’s a lived-in space, so there are always some scuffs on the walls or drawings taped up everywhere. The entrance is right off the sidewalk, so we have to be careful when the kids are leaving to make sure they wait for their parents. It gets pretty busy around drop-off time with all the bikes and cars. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of small areas for different activities. We don't have a giant campus, just enough room for the toddlers to run around a bit and learn their ABCs. It’s a loud place, honestly, but that’s expected with kids this age. We have a small staff who have been here a long time and they know all the families in Kanigiri. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We mostly just spend our time keeping the kids occupied and teaching them how to share and play together. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy all day.
