Markapuram Divya Teja Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated at D.No. 19 on the Main Road. We’re in Bhupathipalli within the Markapuram Mandal area. If you’re driving through, you’ll probably see our sign, though it’s not very big. We are a collection of farmers from this part of the country who wanted to join forces. Doing things as a company helps us with the government stuff and getting better supplies for our land. It’s not a glamorous life, mostly just dealing with the weather and the markets. We meet up at the Main Road office to talk about which crops are looking good and which ones are struggling this season. There’s no fancy dress code here; we usually just wear our work clothes because there’s always something that needs fixing or moving. We don't have a big budget for advertising, and we don't really need one. Most people know us because we’re their neighbors or they’ve seen us out in the fields for years. We just try to be honest about what we can do and work hard to make sure the harvest is decent. It’s a team effort, and every person involved has a say in how we run things. It can be a bit messy sometimes, like any real business, but we get the job done at the end of the day.
