We are over here at 10-3-11/4 in Kota Reddy Nagar, which is part of Revenue Ward No.11 in Kandukur. It’s a busy enough spot in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, but inside our office, things stay pretty focused. Lbk Soft Tech Private Limited isn’t some big flashy company with a lobby and a receptionist. It is just a handful of us sitting at desks with our monitors. We spend most of our time typing away and trying to make sure the software we build actually does what it is supposed to. Sometimes the power goes out or the street outside gets too loud with the local traffic, but we just keep at it. Most of us grew up around here, so we like being in Kandukur instead of moving off to a huge city like Hyderabad or Bangalore. It feels more real to work from a place where you know the neighbors and the local tea stall owner. We started this because we knew how to handle tech stuff and figured we could do it just as well from here. There is no fancy mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, open up the laptops, and get through the list of tasks for the day. It is simple work but it keeps us busy and we like the challenge of fixing bugs when they pop up. If you walk by Ward 11, you might see us through the window or just hear the hum of the computers.
