Our office is located in the Saravana Complex, which is on Kurnooh Road. If you know where the Karur Vysya Bank is, we are right above it. We go by the name Jyothi Granite Exports (I) Pvt. Ltd. Working with stone is heavy, dusty work, but our office here is where we handle all the paperwork and the export side of things. We deal with a lot of granite that goes to all sorts of places. On any given day, we are talking to quarry owners or checking on shipping schedules. It is not a very quiet job because there is always something happening with the logistics. Kurnooh Road is usually busy with trucks and traffic, which makes sense for a business like ours. We don't have a showroom with polished floors and bright lights. It’s just a regular office where we get the work done. We have samples of granite lying around, of course, but it’s more of a workspace than a shop. We have been doing this for a long time and we know the granite business inside and out. We don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It's about moving heavy stone from one place to another and making sure all the customs and export papers are correct. It takes a lot of coordination and we spend most of our hours making sure everything stays on track for the customers waiting on their stone.
