Travel Office

The Travel Office is located at number 136 in the Real Shopping Center Plaza in Porbandar. Being in a shopping center means there is always something going on around us. You can hear people shopping and talking in the hallways while we are inside trying to figure out flight paths or train tickets. The plaza itself is a well-known spot, so it’s pretty easy for people to find us when they need to plan a trip. We have a lot of brochures scattered around, though most things are done on the computer these days. It’s not a huge office, just a couple of desks and some posters on the wall showing different places people might want to go. We spend most of our day looking at maps and checking prices. It can get a bit hectic when holiday seasons come around and everyone wants to leave at the same time. The air in the plaza can be a bit stuffy, so we usually have the door open to let some breeze in. We aren't a big corporate agency; we're just a small team working out of this booth in the shopping center. Most of the people who come in are locals who have been booking with us for years. They usually stop by for a chat even if they aren't going anywhere yet. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if the computers act up sometimes and we have to restart everything.
