Saurashtra Cement, which many people around here call Hathi Cement from the Mehta Group, is located in Porbandar. We are specifically situated in Soniwad, right behind the Kirti Mandir. Since Kirti Mandir is such a famous landmark, it's very easy for people to find us. Porbandar is a coastal town, so you can often feel the salt in the air. Our office here in Ranavav is part of the local landscape. We've been operating in Gujarat for a long time. The office itself is quite plain. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of maps of the surrounding areas on the walls. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it's a pleasant area. We deal with the cement production and distribution from this side. There is always a lot of activity, with people coming in to discuss supply routes or local projects. We don't go in for modern office trends; we like our space to be functional and simple. Sometimes the cows wander through the streets outside, which is just part of life here. We start our day early before it gets too hot, and we usually wrap things up as the sun starts to set over the coast. It’s a steady way of working that suits the pace of Porbandar.
