Ekta Computers

Being right opposite Taluka School on Siraj Road means we see a lot of kids every day. The school bell is our clock. When it rings, the road gets crowded with cycles and parents. Our shop is just a simple place. We’ve got computer parts and old monitors sitting around. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, no matter how much we sweep. Siraj Road is usually busy with people going about their business. We spend most of the time looking at screens or opening up computer cases. The tables are covered in screws and screwdrivers. Sometimes it’s quiet, and we just sit by the door watching the traffic. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk past. The school building is the main thing you notice when you look out. It’s a bit of an old area, nothing like the new developments on the edge of town. We keep things pretty basic. A few chairs for people to sit on while they wait, and a fan that keeps the air moving. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the name on the front. It’s a practical spot. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside on the step. It’s just how things are here. We do what we can with the space we have. It’s not fancy, but it works for us.
