Star International School

You can find Star International School over on Vazhudavur Salai in the Muthirayarpalayam area of Pondicherry. It is a fairly busy road, so there is always something going on outside the gates. The school itself is a bit of a local landmark for the people living nearby. We have a mix of old and new classrooms, and we are always trying to fix a leaky tap or a creaky door somewhere. It is a regular school life here, nothing too dramatic. The kids bring their tiffins, and the smell of sambar often fills the corridors around noon. We have a small yard where they run around, though it gets a bit crowded sometimes. Pondicherry weather can be quite humid, so the fans are always running at full speed in the summer months. The office is usually busy with parents asking about fees or bus timings. We do not have any fancy brochures; we just talk to people when they come in. Most of our staff live close by, so they know the shortcuts through the side streets to get here on time. It feels like a small community inside a bigger city. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It is just how we operate. We have been here for years, and the building has seen plenty of students pass through its doors into the world.
