Sri Ragavendra Coaching Center

Sri Ragavendra Coaching Center is located on Vazhudavur Road in the Gandhi Nagar area of Thattanchavadi. We are right opposite the VAO office, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us. It’s a typical Pondicherry neighborhood with a lot of movement. The building we are in is plain, and our rooms are filled with desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our days going over math problems and science notes. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the windows open and the fans going. Students come in from all over Thattanchavadi after their school lets out. Some of them look tired, so we try to keep things moving so they don't lose interest. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just pens, paper, and a lot of talking. Usually, there’s a stack of notebooks on the main table that needs correcting. We don't bother with much decoration on the walls, maybe just a calendar or a map. It’s a place where work gets done without much fuss. If someone is struggling with a topic, we just sit down and go over it again until they get it. That’s the rhythm of our day. By the time we lock up at night, the street outside has finally started to quiet down a bit. We just come back and do it all again tomorrow morning for the next group.
