Ohmi Nets

Ohmi Nets is situated at No. 22/A Annasalai. It’s a straightforward shop where we deal with all kinds of nets. Being on Annasalai means there is always something going on outside. The traffic is constant and the noise flows right into our workspace. We don't have any soundproofing or anything like that. We just have rows and rows of different nets stacked up against the walls. Some are for fishing, some are for windows, and others are just for general use. We spend a lot of time untangling things and rolling them back up neatly. It’s repetitive work but it needs to be done. We don't have a big corporate office or a sales team. It’s just us here, handling the orders and talking to the people who stop by. The shop floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a small desk in the corner piled high with bills and receipts. It’s not the most organized place, but we manage to find what we need eventually. We don't use any high-tech equipment, just basic tools and our hands. It’s a slow pace of life inside the shop compared to the chaos of the street outside. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep the inventory sorted so customers can get what they need without waiting too long.
