Sri Kuppannas Tippers & Earth Movers

Our yard is located at 11 5 in Pottayampalayam, right on the main road that goes from Pollachi to Dharapuram. You can't really miss the big yellow machines parked out front when you drive past. Sri Kuppannas Tippers & Earth Movers has been around this area for a good bit of time now. Most of our work involves sending out the tippers to various sites or helping people clear out land for new buildings. It is dusty work, especially during the summer months when the wind picks up across the open fields. The drivers are usually out early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We spend a lot of time maintaining the engines and making sure the tires are okay because the roads around here can be rough on the equipment. Sometimes neighbors stop by to talk or ask about renting a machine for a day or two. We handle those requests as they come. It is a straightforward business without any complications. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small place to keep the keys and the logbooks. The guys who work here are mostly locals from the nearby villages. We know the land around Pollachi quite well since we have worked on so many different patches of it. It is just regular work for us, day in and day out. We just keep our heads down and get the job finished for the people who need it.
