Mahagro Hortitech. We are located at No:728-A on Vadakkumpuram Main Road in Kaniyur. It’s a nice area, quite a bit of green around. We focus on horticulture things. Mostly we are working with plants and the stuff you need to make them grow well. The shop is usually full of the smell of earth and sometimes fertilizers. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but the people in Kaniyur know where to find us on the main road. We don't have a glossy website or a bunch of salespeople. Usually, it's just us giving advice on what to plant this season. The weather here can be tough on the crops, so we try to keep things that actually work for our local climate. My brother and I run the place mostly. We have some help during the busy planting times. We stay open pretty late sometimes if a farmer needs something last minute. The Vadakkumpuram road is usually quiet compared to the city, which is nice. We’ve been here for a few years now. We just want to provide what's needed for the land around here. It's not a complicated setup. We have our regulars who stop by just to chat about how their gardens are doing. We keep things simple and try to be helpful whenever someone walks through the door. Growing things is hard work but we enjoy being part of it here in Kaniyur. It is our daily life.
