Indicoco Exports

We are based right in Modakkupatty Village. We don't really have a building number, as everyone in the village knows where our place is located. It is a rural area, and we are surrounded by greenery and farm land. We spend a lot of our time outside in the yard or in the open shed where we handle the coconut products. There is always a lot of natural debris around, like husks and shells, because that is the nature of what we do. The office is just a small, simple room with a concrete floor and a heavy wooden desk. It gets a lot of natural light during the day, which is good because we don't like using the electric lights too much. The air always smells a bit like the sun and dried coconuts. Most of the people who work with us are neighbors from the village. We work according to the weather; if it rains hard, we have to move everything under the roof as fast as we can. The road into Modakkupatty can be a bit bumpy and dusty, so we are used to the sound of trucks rattling as they arrive. We don't have a website or do any fancy marketing. We just talk to the farmers and the people who buy our exports. It is a slow and steady kind of life here. We’ve been part of this village for a long time, and we just keep doing the work we know.
