It is in Sirukalandhai, a small village area. Our address is 4/175, Vadakku Thottam. We work with shells, mostly coconut ones since they are everywhere here in Negamam. It’s not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. My family has lived in Jakkarpalayam for a long time, so we know most of the people who come by. We spend the day cleaning the shells and sorting them. Some are for charcoal and some for other things. It’s dusty and loud sometimes when the machines are running, but it's okay. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks perfect. We just rely on the quality of what we put out and the local word of mouth. The yard is usually full of trucks coming in or leaving. We don't follow a strict corporate dress code, just whatever is comfortable for the weather and the work. Sometimes we sit outside under the tree when it's too hot in the shed. We don't make big promises, we just try to be honest about what we can do and when we can do it. If you are looking for us, just follow the road past the post office. We’ve been here for many years and we don't plan on moving. It’s just a simple life and a simple business. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the orders are ready on time without any fuss. It’s just Gopika Shell Products, nothing more.
