Bhadrakali Traders

Bhadrakali Traders is located at 1/21 East Nilambur in the Sk Pudur Post area. It’s part of Madathukulam Taluk, which is a pretty quiet region mostly full of farms. We deal in agricultural supplies, mostly whatever the local guys need for their crops throughout the year. It started out as a tiny little shop and we just added to it as we went along. We aren't some big company with a board of directors. It’s just us sitting in the shop, waiting for the morning customers to arrive. The rainy season is always our busiest time because everyone is rushing to get their planting done. We keep a lot of different things in stock, and sometimes the place looks a bit cluttered, but we usually know where to find things. My brother handles the deliveries and I stay at the counter. It can be long hours, especially during the harvest when people need extra bags or supplies at the last minute. We don't do any advertising at all. People just know where we are. Sometimes when it’s quiet, we just sit out front and talk to the people passing by. The building is simple and practical, just a place for storage and business. We’ve seen many things change in the village over the years, but our shop stays about the same. We just try to have what people need when they need it.
