Panchdeep Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Post Dh Pimpri in the Ambad taluka. You can find us at Dyaneshwar Pundlikrao Jadhav’s place. It’s a quiet spot, mostly surrounded by fields. We started this because we were tired of struggling on our own with the rising costs of everything. Farming is getting more expensive every year, from the seeds to the tractor fuel. In our little group, we share the burden. We don't have a big mission statement or any of those things companies usually have. We just want to grow our crops and sell them for a price that lets us keep going. The Jalna region has its own set of problems, mostly to do with irrigation. We talk a lot about how to save water and which pipes are the best to buy. It’s all very practical stuff. We don't pretend to be big-time businessmen. We are just farmers who realized that ten heads are better than one. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we help each other out. If you come by Dh Pimpri, you’ll see us working the land or sitting around Dyaneshwar’s house sorting through receipts. It’s a real, messy, honest life, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our feet in the mud and our eyes on the clouds.
