Chanchal Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Pimpri Raja, specifically at Gut No 13. This is where Shri Tejrao Gajanan Ghorpde stays, and he has been kind enough to let us use the space for our operations. In this part of the district, the land is what we know best. We aren't people who use big words or fancy titles. Most of the time, we are out in the sun, and the "office" is just where we go to sign papers or meet with the other members. Being in Pimpri Raja means we are a bit far from the big city markets, so we had to organize ourselves to get our goods out there. We talk a lot about the quality of the soil and how the latest batch of crops is looking. It is a noisy place sometimes, with tractors passing by and people shouting greetings across the fields. We don't have a polished way of doing things. If someone has a problem, they just walk up to the house and we talk it out right there. It is a very local way of doing business, but it works for us. We handle everything from the seeds to the final sale, making sure everyone involved gets their fair share. It is just a group of friends and neighbors trying to keep the farming tradition going while making a bit of a living at the same time. We don't need much else.
