Lafarge Concreto Cement

Our office is located in the Vibha Complex, spread across the 3rd and 5th floors. We are right on the Extension Road, near New Dak Bunglow Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and finding parking downstairs is almost impossible most days. We spend a lot of time on the phones or dealing with paperwork related to cement orders. It’s not as dusty as being out at a construction site, but we still have samples laying around that leave a bit of a mess on the carpets. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. We handle the distribution side of things, making sure the Concreto cement gets where it needs to go. It’s a lot of coordination between the plants and the local dealers. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's mostly desks, filing cabinets, and people talking about delivery schedules. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit there staring at each other until it comes back. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there’s so much to keep track of. The view from the 5th floor isn't anything special, just more buildings and the traffic on the road below. Working in a complex like Vibha means we have to follow some rules about noise and trash, which is different from being in an open yard. We share the floors with other businesses, so we see a lot of different people in the hallways.
