Vidya Sagar Public School

We are located over in Phulwarisharif, which is a busy part of Patna. Our school has been here long enough that we feel like a fixture in the neighborhood. It’s a public school, so we’re open to everyone. Most of our days are spent in the classrooms or in the small office near the entrance. It’s a plain, functional building designed for one thing: teaching. We don’t have a lot of extra decorations or fancy equipment. We rely on good old-fashioned chalk and talk. The teachers here live nearby for the most part, so they know the community well. You’ll often see people stopping by just to ask about admissions or to drop off something their child forgot. The area around Phulwarisharif can get quite crowded, especially during the market hours, but we keep our gates closed to keep things steady inside. We focus on the basics. There’s a lot of paperwork to keep up with, and the maintenance of an old building is never-ending. We spend our weekends catching up on chores or planning for the next week. It’s a simple operation. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to provide a place where kids can come, sit down, and learn their lessons without any fuss. That’s how we’ve always done it, and we don't see any reason to change now. It’s just our daily life here.
