Mohindra Public Sr Sec School

Mohindra Public is right on the G T Road in Kapurthala, so we are very easy to find. If you’re driving past, you’ve probably seen our gate many times. It’s a loud spot with all the trucks and traffic going by, but once you step inside, the school grounds feel a bit more settled. We handle everything from the younger kids up to the senior secondary levels. Our days are mostly filled with the sound of the school bell and children running to their next class. The building is a sturdy one, though it shows its age in some corners where the paint might be peeling a bit. We don't spend much on flashy signs; we’d rather make sure the classrooms have enough benches and the lights are working. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons here, so the shade of the trees in the yard is where everyone wants to be during lunch. Most of our teachers have been with us for years and they know the local families well. It’s not a corporate setup; it’s more like a community fixture where people send their kids because it’s close and reliable. We deal with the typical school problems, like a broken window from a cricket ball or a muddy playground after a heavy rain. It’s just a normal school life for us on the highway. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
