Anand Public School

If you walk down Mandi Road, you’ll find Anand Public School. It’s tucked away a bit, but you can’t miss the gate. We’ve been operating from this building for quite some time. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the market. Inside, it’s a bit different. We have our classrooms set up along the corridor. It’s not a huge place, but we use every corner we have. The desks are the old wooden kind, and we have blackboards that still get a lot of use. Every morning, the kids arrive from the nearby neighborhoods. Some walk, some come on cycles. We start early before the sun gets too hot. The teachers here are mostly locals. They know the families well. We don't have a big office or anything. It's just a place where we teach math, science, and languages. During the lunch break, you can hear a lot of noise from the playground. It’s a small yard, but they manage to play football there. Sometimes things get a bit messy, especially when it rains and the mud gets tracked in. We just clean it up and keep going. We don't spend much on decorations. The walls have some charts made by the students. It’s a practical setup. We just want the kids to learn what they need for their exams and life. That’s what a school on Mandi Road looks like every day. We don't have a lot of fancy stuff, just the books and the people.
