Surya Catering Service

We run Surya Catering Service from our place at 15/249 on Shornur Road in Kulappulli. It’s a familiar spot for many in Palakkad - 679122 because we are right near the Power House. We’ve been doing this for several years now, starting out of a small kitchen and slowly getting more equipment over time. Cooking is what we do all day long. The kitchen gets really hot, especially when we are preparing food for a big wedding or a local function. We handle everything from the shopping at the local markets to the final serving at the venue ourselves. Shornur Road is usually busy, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully so the food stays fresh and arrives on time. It’s a team of local people here, mostly neighbors and family who know their way around a large stove. We don't have a fancy menu card or a salesperson. Most people just come to the house or call us because they’ve eaten our food at someone else's party or event. Kulappulli is a tight-knit community, so news travels fast if we do a good job. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the big jobs, which is the part of the work nobody sees. It’s hard work, standing on your feet for ten hours, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep things practical and focus on the food.
