Sai Vidhyalaya School

We are over on Thirumangalam Road in Lalgudi, which is part of the Trichy district. Sai Vidhyalaya School has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood. The road has gotten busier, that’s for sure. Our school building is a regular concrete structure with a gate that squeaks a little when you open it. We don't have a lot of extra staff, so everyone chips in with different jobs. You might see a teacher helping with the midday meals or the principal checking the water tanks. It is just how things work here. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids actually understand what is in their textbooks. It isn't always easy, especially when it’s hot outside and everyone is feeling a bit tired. We have a small playground where the kids play during their breaks. It is mostly dirt and some old equipment, but they don't seem to mind. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We are just a local school trying to do a decent job for the families in Lalgudi. Most of our students live just a few streets away. It feels like a small town community inside our walls. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, making sure the children attend their classes and finish their work.
