Riseup Software Services Private Limited

Down in Mawakot, which is part of Kotdwar in Pauri Garhwal, we have our little office for Riseup Software Services. It’s a bit of a different vibe out here compared to the bigger cities. The air is fresher, though getting supplies or tech gear can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We are situated in a spot that’s easy enough to find if you know the area. The office is pretty basic with some tables and chairs we picked up locally. We spend our time writing code and fixing software issues while looking out at the hills when we need a breather. It’s a simple life. Most of us grew up around here or moved back to get away from the chaos of the city. We aren't doing anything flashy. We just show up, do the software work, and head home when the sun goes down. Sometimes the power cuts out when the weather gets bad, so we just wait it out or chat until it comes back. There isn't a lot of hierarchy here; everyone just pitches in where they can to get the job done. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and maybe a few old posters. It’s just a group of local people trying to make a living with technology in the mountains. We enjoy the pace of life here even when things get a little bit slow.
