You can find us up in Pauri Garhwal, specifically in the Upper Kalabarh area. Malasi Foods India Private Limited is operated care of Jasram Milasiheera Mani. Being in the mountains means we have a very different way of working compared to the cities. The air is always fresh and you can smell the pines, but the terrain makes logistics a real challenge. We handle food products and spend a lot of our time worrying about the roads and the weather. Our office is a very basic room with just enough space for our files and a computer. We don't have a big team of executives. It is mostly local people who know the area well. We don't use any corporate jargon or marketing talk because that’s just not who we are. We spend our days coordinating with transporters and checking on the stock we have. Sometimes things move slowly because of a landslide or heavy rain, but we’ve learned to be patient. It’s a very practical kind of work that doesn't leave much room for anything else. We enjoy the peace of being in Upper Kalabarh, even if the work is physically demanding at times. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to run a solid business and look after our local area. It’s a simple life with plenty of hard work.
