Vidhyarthi

This shop is called Vidhyarthi, and we are located at Gai Ghat in Patna, right on the Main Road near the Dental College. It’s a very old part of town. Because we are near the college, we see a lot of students coming and going. The building itself is quite old, with thick walls that keep it cool in the summer. We’ve been here for a long time, and the interior reflects that. It’s not fancy or updated with the latest trends. We have sturdy wooden chairs and old-fashioned mirrors. Most people come to us for standard services because they know what to expect. We don’t use any complicated booking systems; you just turn up and wait your turn. The noise from the main road is always there, but you stop noticing it after a while. I handle most of the work myself, but I have a young lad who helps with the cleaning and running errands. We open quite early in the morning and stay open until late evening. It’s a steady rhythm. The students are always in a rush, but the older residents like to sit and talk. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name Vidhyarthi painted on the wall. It’s a honest, hardworking place that has seen many years pass by in Patna. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door, but we just wipe it up.
