Swas Tea

Swas Tea is located in Anisabad, right on Phulwari Sharif Road. We’re in the Birla Colony area, not too far from Jagdeo Path. It’s a busy part of Patna, so there is always a lot of noise from the horns and the people walking by. Our place is tucked in among the other shops and houses. We’ve been here for a while, just handling tea. The shop is simple, with shelves full of different grades of tea. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine. Every morning we sweep the front and wait for the first delivery. The traffic on the road can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. But it brings people past our door, which is good. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that. We just sell tea to whoever needs it. Some people come in for just a small amount, while others take big bags. We treat everyone the same. The walls have some scuffs and the sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but it does the job. It’s a practical business in a practical part of town. We just keep things moving and hope the tea is what people are looking for. It is just our way of getting things done here in Birla Colony.
