Suman Kirana

Suman Kirana is located in Gupta Market, which is on the Patna Khagaul Road in Anisabad. We are quite close to the Anisabad Golmber, so it is a landmark everyone knows around here. Patna is a busy place and this road sees a lot of traffic every single day. The shop is filled with the usual items you would expect to find in a neighborhood kirana store. We spend most of our time weighing out grains or stacking packets of oil and spices. It is a lot of manual work but we are used to it by now. The market gets quite loud in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they forgot to buy something for dinner. We try to keep everything organized, though sometimes it gets a bit messy when a big delivery comes in. There are many shops in Gupta Market, but we have our regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know where we keep the pulses and the different types of rice. We don't do much fancy advertising because people just know we are here. It is a practical business. We deal with cash mostly and keep track of things in our old registers. It is just a normal day-to-day life running a store in Anisabad. We see the same faces, hear the same stories, and keep the shop running from morning till late evening. It is what we do and it works for us in the end.
