Fruits Villa

We are set up on Sahdeo Mahto Marg, right in the Jagdamba Tower on the ground floor. It’s a well-known spot in the Boring Road area of Patna. It’s always crowded around here, with cars and people constantly moving. Our day starts pretty early because that’s when the fresh stock comes in. Dealing with fruit means you have to be quick, or things go bad, especially with the Patna heat. We spend a lot of time sorting through crates and setting things out so people can see them. The shop isn't polished or like those big supermarkets. It’s more of a traditional setup where you can see everything piled up. We have our regulars who come by every week, and we usually know what they’re looking for. Sometimes the traffic on Boring Road makes it hard for delivery trucks to get to us on time, which can be frustrating. We just do our best with what we have each day. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up, open the shutters, and start the day. It’s physical work, lifting heavy boxes and standing on our feet for most of the day. By the time we close up, we’re usually pretty tired, but then we just do it all over again the next morning. It’s just a normal fruit business trying to stay organized in a busy part of the city.
