We are located right in Tulsi Mandi here in Gulzarbagh. If you know the area, you know how busy the market gets in the mornings and evenings. We have been operating from this spot for a while now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where we have set up some benches and whiteboards for the students. Patna can get pretty hot in the summer months, so we keep the fans running all day, though sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to manage with the windows open. Most of the kids who come here are from the nearby streets and they usually walk or come on cycles. We don't have a big reception or anyone to greet you at the door. It is just us teachers and the students doing their work. Sometimes the noise from the Mandi outside gets a bit much, especially during the festival seasons, but everyone is used to it by now. We try to keep things simple. There’s no fancy air conditioning or revolving chairs. Just basic wooden benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. The street outside is narrow, so parking a bike can be a bit of a headache sometimes. It’s just a local place where we spend our whole day teaching and talking to parents who drop by to check on their children's progress. There is a tea stall down the lane where we usually get our midday snacks. It is a very normal, everyday life here in Gulzarbagh for us.
