Exam Affinity - Icse is tucked away in the RBI Flats Colony area of Patrakar Nagar. It is a busy part of Patna, right off the Kankarbagh Road. If you know the P C Colony area, we are not far from there. The building is D139, and it stays quite busy from the afternoon into the late evening. We focus on the ICSE curriculum because that is what the students in this neighborhood are mostly dealing with in their regular schools. The rooms are filled with stacks of old question papers and textbooks that have been thumbed through hundreds of times. It is not a corporate setup with glass walls or fancy lobby areas. Instead, it is a place where you will find students sitting around wooden tables, scratching their heads over math problems or literature essays. The noise of the traffic from Kankarbagh Road is always there in the background, but everyone just gets used to it after a few days. We have been here in the 800020 area for a while, and most of the kids come from the nearby flats and colonies. During the exam season, the energy changes and things get a bit more stressed, with more tea and coffee being drank in the small break area. The walls are covered with schedules and handwritten notes about upcoming deadlines. It is just a regular place where local students come to put in the extra hours needed to get through their syllabus. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the basics.
