Our place, Sri Vinayak Food & Spices Privatelimited, is tucked away in Ramna Gali. We are right in front of the Muslimhigh School on B M Das Road. It’s a narrow street, so it gets crowded when school lets out. We work out of the house owned by Ram Rati Devi. It’s a very local vibe here. You can usually smell the spices we are working with if you walk by at the right time. We aren’t a giant factory or anything like that. It’s more of a hands-on operation. We spend our mornings sorting through things and getting orders ready. The neighborhood is lively, and everyone knows each other. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just come in and find us working. Dealing with food and spices is what we do every single day. It’s a lot of manual labor and making sure the quality is okay. We don't spend money on advertising or big logos. The name Sri Vinayak is important to us, but we don't make a big deal out of it. We just want to provide what we have to the people who need it. It’s a simple life on B M Das Road. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but we manage. We’ve been here for a bit now, just doing our thing. It’s honest work and we like being in this part of town. It feels right to us.
