Site Engineer

Our Site Engineer office is located on the 2nd floor of Rathanniwas. We are on West Boring Canal Road in Patna, Bihar. The zip code is 800001. Being on the second floor means I have to climb a lot of stairs every day, especially when I’m carrying heavy equipment or rolls of paper. The building is an older one, and the name Sreepatiraju is associated with our floor. West Boring Canal Road is always jammed with people and rickshaws, so it’s a lively place to be. Inside, the office is quite narrow. I’ve squeezed in a couple of desks and a shelf for my reference books. There is a small balcony where I can look out at the canal, though it’s usually just full of traffic these days. The light in the afternoon is quite good for drafting. I’ve got an old printer that jams occasionally, which is frustrating. Most of the time, I’m out at construction sites across the city, so the office is often empty until the evening. I keep my hard hat and boots by the door so I can grab them and go. It’s not a fancy corporate space, just a functional room in a busy part of Patna. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear on the phone, but you get used to it. It’s a solid place to work from. I usually keep some snacks in the drawer because the days get long.
