Kaniyasa Traders

Kaniyasa Traders is out here in Simrahi. It’s a local operation, nothing too big. We deal with whatever goods are in demand at the time, mostly stuff people need for their daily lives or small projects. The shop isn’t hard to find once you get into the main part of town. We open up early in the morning because that’s when most of the traffic starts. It can get dusty sometimes with the trucks going by, but that’s just part of being in this area. We have a small storage space in the back where we keep the stock. It’s usually me and one other person handling the customers and moving things around. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people who walk in. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. They know what we have and they know we aren’t going anywhere. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't really do much advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people through the door. Sometimes we have to wait a while for new shipments to arrive, but we make do with what’s on the shelves. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for market days when everything picks up. We just keep track of the inventory and try to stay helpful to whoever stops by.
