Seema Classes

Seema Classes is over in Hanuman Nagar, which is part of the larger Kankarbagh area in Patna. It’s a residential neighborhood for the most part, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We have a ground-floor space that makes it easy for everyone to walk in. There is a small gate at the entrance and a bit of space where students park their cycles. Inside, the rooms are fairly large but they fill up quickly. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the regular ceiling fans that spin all day long. The walls are painted a light color, though they have some scuffs from all the bags and chairs hitting them over the years. We spend a lot of our time just sitting with the students and going over their work. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t really have a separate office for ourselves, we just use one of the tables in the back. There is a small shop nearby where we get our tea and snacks during the breaks. Life here is pretty routine. We open up early, sweep the floors, and get ready for the first batch. It’s a local place through and through, and we know most of the families living around this part of Kankarbagh. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky pipe or replace a bulb, but we handle it ourselves as it comes up and keep things moving.
