Santosh Communication And Kirana Store

Our shop, Santosh Communication And Kirana Store, sits inside Jds Market over in Mithala Colony. It’s right there in the Nasariganj part of Digha, Danapur. You can find us pretty easily because we are quite close to the Hanuman Mandir. It’s a bit of a mixed business we have here. Half the shop is full of rice bags, pulses, and packets of biscuits, while the other side is where I handle the phone recharges and stuff like that. People come in mostly for small things, maybe a pack of tea leaves or to put some money on their mobile plans. The market gets very crowded on the weekends, especially with everyone heading to the temple. It’s a lot of noise with the scooters and people talking. I’ve been working here for a good while now. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s mostly just me behind the counter, though sometimes a cousin helps out when I need to step away for lunch. We have a lot of regular customers from the colony who stop by just to say hello even if they aren't buying anything. The shelves are a bit crowded because I try to fit everything in. It's a small space but it works for what we need to do. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit by the door where there is some light.
