If you look for Pillar No. 56 on Bailey Road in Raja Bazar Raja Bazar, you will find us right opposite. It’s a very well-known landmark in this part of town. The hospital sits right on the main road. It’s a loud and busy area. We have been here for quite some time now. The building is a bit old-fashioned. We have different departments across the floors. The elevators are sometimes slow, so most of us just use the stairs. We see all kinds of people from Raja Bazar. It’s a busy hospital. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing where we are. The waiting room is usually full of people talking and kids running around. We have some benches and a small desk where you sign in. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy uniforms; just regular scrubs and white coats. Bailey Road is always jammed with traffic, so it can be hard to get in and out sometimes. We keep the place running 24 hours. The staff takes turns resting in the small break room in the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. We try to keep the rooms as tidy as possible. It is just a local hospital doing what it can for the neighborhood. There is a tea stall just outside where people wait for their relatives. We stay open through it all.
