Our Patna office is in Naya Gaon, right near the Gulzarbagh post office. Bihar can get incredibly hot, so our daily life revolves a lot around the weather and making sure the fans are at full speed. The office is in a simple building that fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is a familiar path for us now. We have a few rooms filled with wooden desks and stacks of documents. We don’t have a fancy website or a digital check-in system. You just walk in and say hello. The rhythm of work here is steady. We handle a lot of local coordination and paperwork that needs to be filed correctly. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so there is a bit of cleaning to do every morning before we start. We usually share a big pot of tea in the morning while we discuss what needs to get done. The surrounding area is busy with local shops and people going about their business. We don't use big words or have long meetings about nothing. We just look at the tasks, talk about how to solve the problems, and get to it. It is an unpretentious place where people work hard in a very traditional way. We are just a small part of the bigger company, doing our thing here in Patna.
