Ford Hospital

Ford Hospital sits right on the New Bypass, which means we are constantly surrounded by the sound of trucks and cars moving along Nh-30. It’s a fast-moving area, and being in Khemnichak gives us a very specific spot in the New Jaganpura locality. The bypass is one of those roads that never really sleeps, so there is always something going on outside our windows. Inside, the hospital is busy with the usual medical routines. We have patients coming in from the surrounding neighborhoods and some who are just passing through and need help. It’s a big building, but it fills up quickly because of the location. The staff here is used to the pace. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or the noise from the highway; we just focus on the people in the beds and the ones waiting in the hall. Nh-30 is a major artery for this part of the city, so we get a lot of emergency cases or people who find it easier to reach us than going into the deeper parts of town. The area of Khemnichak has changed a lot over the years with more buildings going up, but the bypass stays the same busy stretch. Working here means you get used to the exhaust fumes and the sirens. It’s not a quiet life, but it’s where the hospital needs to be to help folks in this part of Jaganpura.
